Facel Vega marque crée par Jean Daninos construit des automobiles performantes et luxueuses pendant une dizaine d'années de 1954 a 64.Les "grosses" Facel étaient équippées de gros V8 Chrysler et la dernière Facel était le coupe 4 places le plus rapide du monde et ne fut délogée de ce titre qu'une vingtaine d'années plus tard. En 1959 est apparue une "petite" Facel a 4 cyl : La Facélia. D'abord avec un moteur maison puis un Volvo 1800 et enfin une version avec le 6 cyl Austin Healey.
Facel Vega, created by Jean Daninos, built sporty and luxurious automobiles for a decade from 1954 to 64. The "big" Facel were equipped with a Chrysler V8 and the last one built was the world fastest 4 seater coupe and kept this title for more than 20 years. In 1959 appeared a "little" Facel with a 4 cyl : the Facelia. First with a factory engine then with a 1800 Volvo and finally a 6 cyl Austin Healey.
